This event celebrates a newly published curriculum “Let’s Learn About St. Louis” by The Wilson School’s Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, Linda Noel, and features local author, June Herman, and her book “Goodnight St. Louis.” Both books will be on sale and authors will sign your copy. About the Authors June Arthur Herman, Co-Author, “Goodnight St. Louis” A New Jersey native, June Herman considers herself a “St. Louisan by choice.” Married with two teenagers, Herman has lived in St. Louis for more than 20 years. She and her husband, both East Coasters, have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know their adopted home town. They love exploring the city’s eclectic neighborhoods, listening to live music, and watching world class sports. Her favorite part about writing this book was researching the fascinating history behind some of St. Louis most treasured landmarks. She is a graduate of Loras College, Dubuque, IA. Learn more atgoodnightstlouis.com Linda Noel, Author, “Let’s Learn About St. Louis” Linda L. Noel is a native St. Louisan. She lives with her husband, Claude, and their dogs in St. Louis County. As a child, she and her father spent many days exploring the city to find new and special places to visit around town. Her favorite memories include visiting local parks, restaurants, landmarks and neighborhoods. As an early childhood educator for 35 years at The Wilson School in Clayton, her desire was to teach her students about the wonderful city in which they live. Finding no curriculum available, she created this unit. She truly enjoys St. Louis and all it has to offer.
