Art
Art at Wilson is developing fine motor skills, self expression, creativity, and an appreciation for other cultures. And, while we have a light-filled classroom space for achieving these goals, art isn’t limited to the dedicated art classroom time every grade-level receives. Wilson students also experience art in social studies, French, and technology classes, just to name a few, through the myriad of integrated learning curricula our wonderful faculty have developed. Wilson students also explore art and art history at the nearby St. Louis Art Museum, as well as other cultural institutions. Our children learn that art is everywhere!
Would you like to see how our students learn to express themselves artistically through photography? Schedule a visit today to see how we lead children past the selfie to a wider view of the world. Did you know? Wilson students were selected to participate in a special Art Aficionados project at this year’s St. Louis Art Fair. |
