Library
You only have to walk into Wilson to see the extraordinary value we place on literacy and the love of reading. The warm and welcoming Hal Faught Memorial Library is home to more than eleven thousand books, unrivaled by any other elementary school library in Missouri. It is here that students learn skills that range from introductory -- taking care of books, the Dewey Decimal system -- to the sophisticated -- effectively conducting research for multidisciplinary projects. Along the way, our students enjoy the joys of story time, checking out books, and all of the other activities a superior library and certified, full-time librarian can offer. Parents are also welcome to check out materials and can manage library use -- including requesting books -- for the whole family at home, using our online system.
Can you picture your child with a book in front of our library fireplace? Schedule a visit to experience our warm and welcoming library for yourself! |
