Born and raised in Yorkshire, England, Michael ("Mick") joined Wilson in 2016 from Academy of the Sacred Heart in St Charles, Missouri, where he taught for five years and was the Athletic Director. Prior to moving to the St. Louis area, Michael worked as a counselor and Group Leader at a summer camp in New York, teaching canoeing, kayaking, and rowing. He has traveled around the world, visiting 5 continents. Michael is married to a native Missourian and has 2 daughters. Michael taught at Hall Cross Academy in the U.K. and took students to Norway on a 4-day self-sufficient trek before moving to the USA. He likes hot and cold tea, biscuits (cookies), swimming, kayaking, rugby, and football (soccer) and is known for his quirky British humor.
