Kevin McGinnis is a fifth grade team teacher and social studies specialist for the upper grades. Approaching 15 years experience at Wilson, Kevin has held a wide variety of positions. He has taught Math, Language Arts, as well as his real passion, Social Studies and been in both 5th and 6th grade as a homeroom teacher. Early in his years at Wilson, he spent summers working Wilson Summer Camp with early childhood and primary grades students. More recently he has helped run Think Camp in the summer, teaching classes on Bloxels and Robotics. He has assisted or ran Robotics, Destination Imagination, National Geographic Bee, and Minecraft after school clubs. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. They especially love any opportunity to hike through the National Parks.
