Amy Wilson joined Wilson in the junior kindergarten team in the fall of 2012. She is certified in early childhood education, early childhood special education and elementary education. In addition to her classroom duties, Amy brought Destination Imagination® (DI) to Wilson. During its inaugural year at The Wilson School, one of the teams advanced to the Global Finals competition. Amy enjoys playing cards with her husband and friends, spending time with her two children, their lab Kahlo, and their little dog Zoey. As a family, they often go to their family farm to escape the city and embrace nature. Maya Angelou’s quote, “Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud,” resonates with Amy.
