"The gradual process of getting up in front of the whole school to honor your birthday to staying in line with a classmate by yourself with your older buddy right behind you to prompt you in case you forget, to giving a speech on your own that you wrote to the entire school is so gradual that the children don't even realize they are learning to become poised, confident public speakers."
