In the independent school world, parents are absolutely vital to a school’s success. They help as room parents, speakers and presenters, field trip chauffeurs, and as extra pairs of hands in their children’s classrooms. They volunteer as tour guides for prospective parents, as coaches for after school sports programs, as leaders of girls and boys scout troops, and they help support students’ community service projects.

At Wilson, parents help us build a sense of community by their enthusiastic participation in our all-school picnic, our various book fairs, our Admissions Office Helping Hand Program, and in the many Parents’ Association activities. They also support Wilson with unselfish help, incredible amounts of time and energy, and gracious generosity at the Thistle Auction and during Annual Giving. Wilson parents are simply the best.
