For many years our third-grade and fifth-grade students have studied Latin roots during their language arts classes to help strengthen vocabulary acquisition. To strengthen the success of this approach, the study of Latin is an ongoing part of the curriculum for our fourth, fifth, and sixth-graders. In addition to their French classes, our students take one Latin class each week. The text used is the Cambridge Series.
