The Wilson School is an independent, coeducational, preparatory school for 190
students in pre-kindergarten (three years of age) through grade six. Located in
Clayton, Missouri — a quiet, tree-lined, residential suburb of St. Louis — the
school is housed in an historic building designed and built in 1916 by the
noted architect William B. Ittner.
The Wilson School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools
(NAIS).

Pre-K Half Day: $9,300 for the 2007-2008 school year.
Extended Day: $2,448 for the 2007-2008 school year; also available daily, as

Tuition assistance awards are based on need. For the 2007-2008 school year,
$184,040 has been awarded to 32 families, helping 35 students or 19% of
the student body.

A fully automated 10,000-volume library that includes research-based magazines
and software; at least 18,000 more volumes are distributed throughout the nine
classrooms. Networked iMac computer work stations with Internet access.
TECHNOLOGY
Every classroom (including art, music, French, and
science) is equipped with multimedia iMac computers providing Internet access;
the Joan Locatelli Foley Computer Lab has 20 iMac networked computers, and
the school is entirely networked; computer/student ratio: 1:3.
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Extended Day; Wilson After School
Activities (WASA) include sports, chess, guitar, crafts,
